What's The Plan?
Fort Worth, Texas to Boerne, Texas
Dallas to Austin? No; How about the Shops in Clearfork to the new Bevy Hotel in Boerne, Texas just outside of San Antonio? We are so pumped for the amazing drive we have set up. The first day is 318 miles of Texas Hill Country. We will drive down to Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock, Willow City loop and hopefully see the most gorgeous bluebonnets ever!
Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock and Willow City Loop
The drive down to Fredericksburg, Texas (The Wine Capital of Texas) is where we will have lunch on Friday. We will drive all over this area the next two days, but after lunch we will continue to head south and see both Enchanted Rock and Willow City Loop before heading into Boerne for the night.
The Twisted Sisters
If you ask someone about the best road to drive on in Texas, they will mention the Twisted Sisters. 335, 336, 337 are the most exciting roads, but can be very dangerous! Insane beauty as you laugh knowing that Texas is anything but flat.
The Devil's Backbone
This stretch of highways are some of the prettiest roads in Texas; It has a haunted past, but don't let that scare you from driving across this limestone ridge. Hopefully this is another opportunity to see more of the Lone Star State's bluebonnets.
